Who has bragging rights to the oldest 'Dash Plaque'? I can go back to 1983! I had a 69 Nova at the time. Beat it and be ready to show up or shut up! LOL

Here's my oldest plaque:

And here's my oldest car show photo. It's from that show in 1984.

Remember the old disc cameras? Pics were always grainy!

You need a password to view this.

Once the picture is displayed on your screen, right click on it, highlight and copy the URL after "Location".

Should be something like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/whatever/whatever/name of photo.jpg

Then, in the body of your post, surround the above link with , as such

"", but without the " at the beginning and end.

Sorry Rick, I don't know what I'm doing. You say "Once the picture is displayed on my screen" ~ Displayed WHERE on my screen? Other sites aren't this damned confusing when it comes to posting a picture! Thanks anyway.

Hi Guys, thought I'd put my 2 cents in this.I never really got into going to shows until about 3 years ago.I really don;t have many dash placques prior to that. The ones I did have has been either lost or missplaced. As most as you all know,I ve owned my 64" since it was new. However,I do have a few of my old time slips when I raced my 1964 Chevy from 1964-1969,and somewhere in all my junk I do have a box of these somewhere, but I was able to come up with a couple that where laying in the glove box.I found these when I restored my Chevy. The top slip is from 75-80 at Moravia ,Md june 1965.This was Final Stock Elimator for the night.I had won "B" Stock Class but lost on a last roung Stock Eliminator. Was beat by a 1964 Pontiac Catalina running "A" stock. This was a 421 car. The bottom time slip was from 75-80 Dragway(July or August 1965) where I did win stock eliminator and also the money.I races a 1963 Pontiac 421 "a" stock for the money on that. I was beat in the next round for Top Eliminator by an "A" Altered Rod. Gosh!!! That was some great times!!!! I'd had forgot how much fun that was. I do realize these times are only in the low to mid 13's,but that was quite a good time in the 1960's. John

Cool stuff! 13's was pretty quick for street cars back in the 60's.
