PostSubject: Dickie Sills update   Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:25 pm

Arrow Condolences go out to legendary car builder/bodyman/fabricator/racecar driver and showman Dickie Sills and his family. As of Thursday, doctors at Upper Chesapeake performed a partial amputation of his other leg.We had the pleasure of his company at WaWa Wednesday nite and in true Dickie spirit he was hopeful, but in much pain and hoping for some relief.Doctors are hopeful of a successful out come, and it was reported that if he continues to do well, they may/may not remove the leg up to the knee....Prayers go out to Dickie,Vic Colonel and his girls...Dickie mentioned Wednesday nite that when he's up to it that he would really enjoy seeing some hotrods in his drive way one day...As his recovery progresses,we are planning a cruise to his shop when he feels up to it and we will let yous know when, exclusively at this site.ALSO...we are currently in the early planning stages of a major cruise/dance fund raising event to raise $$$$ for Dickie to help defray medical and daily expenses....Please Stay Tuned as details come in....

Cool As of today, doctors at Upper Chesapeake had scheduled to remove the rest of Dickie's left leg up to the knee. All went well with phase 1,now on to phase 2.They are hopeful the the procedure will go well and that he will return home soon.Dickie was in good spirits Saturday nite and is looking forward to being sprung sometime this week.Meanwhile,if yous would like to send cards, flowers,of some Cam-2 purple to help get him up and running, his room number is 333.He may be up to having visitors tomorrow evening...STAY TUNED!
